Our market research has shown that there are still many "back yard" and "fly by night" truck operators that practice environmentally unfriendly disposal practices in our business today. Scrap My Junk Car's main goal is to become the only un-bias junk car removal service in North America to ensure its loyal clients the industries leading pro-active, eco-friendly, courteous, and fair junk car disposal. Our Ontario operation has partnered with local charities so to be able to donate to these charities on our clients behalf, this program will be available to all of the other states/provinces we grow into. We simply strive to offer more to our customers than anyone else, including, cash incentives, charity donations, eco-friendly guarantee, on top of our friendly and convenient customer service.

Are you going to be part of our team?
We are actively seeking members who are committed to environmentally friendly vehicle disposal, as well as people who have our industry leading "Customer First" attitude. To become a member, we require the following:

  • At least 3 Year of practical Experience in the Automotive Recycling Industry

  • Fully Insured and Licensed Tow Truck

  • Valid Drives License

  • Both a local and toll free telephone number

  • A Facility Equip to handle the processing of vehicles, which includes:

    • Sufficient or paved customer parking area.
    • A sterile and well-controlled sales facility and reception area.
    • Descriptive yet friendly signage to facilitate customers maneuvering through your site.
    • The maintenance of building and site reflects an organized and safe venture.
    • Any company-owned tow trucks are well kept to ensure employee safety.
    • All fluids, such as gas, engine oil, transmission fluid, and antifreeze, must be adequately removed and stored before dismantling/crushing vehicles.
    • All mentioned fluids are stored within a building or within some type of containment if outside.
    • All batteries are removed from vehicles and stored in a covered area on impermeable ground or within covered plastic containers.
    • All refrigerant is removed from vehicles (where applicable) by one of the following methods:
    •  
      • R-12 recovery machine
      • R-134a recovery machine Licensed removal vendor
    • All engines and transmissions removed either for sale or as cores must be stored under an impermeable roof or outside within covered weather resistant containers.
    • Tires removed are transferred to licensed disposal sites only.
    • Must meet all local business standards.
    • Any individual involved in the treatment of End Of Life Vehicles must use personal protective equipment such as gloves, hard hats, safety shoes, safety clothing, goggles and safety shields as required.
    • Readily accessible eyewash stations.
    • Readily available fire extinguishers (must be charged and ready for use).
    • Spill Kits.
    • Health and Safety specialists on site.

Our program has enjoyed great success in its initial area. Membership with Scrap My Junk Car will typically begin to profit its franchisee's within the first 30 days. Our Toronto based initial program obtains, on average, 300 End of life vehicles per month. Its great success is due to many reasons - primarily great customer service and strategic marketing.

  • All necessary start-up materials, including custom invoices, cards, and stickers.

  • 7 Day/Week customer support for both yourself and your clients by our head office.
     

Are there any limitations
The only limitation are the areas your membership will cover. We will link all cities and towns within 50 miles directly to your section on
www.ScrapMyJunkCar.com. We do this to ensure quick service by all of our members. This is all done on a first come, first serve basis, renewed yearly.
 

Membership Pricing (Free Trial Month Available)
At this time, we kindly as to call our head office and speak with a customer service agent regarding membership pricing. Each area is different, and as such, each area will be a different rate. Our pricing is calculated based on population and saturation. Membership dues are paid on a monthly basis.
